Tax Appraisal

A tax appraisal, also known as a property tax assessment, is the process by which a governmental or municipal body determines the value of a property for the purpose of levying property taxes. This value is typically referred to as the assessed value. The assessed value is used to calculate the amount of property taxes owed by the property owner.
